Tate Napier (head coach) leads the team into their 2010 season with a number of state and national representatives to coach around. The beginning of the year has been disruptive, to say the least for the reigning premiers. With U18’s and AHL taking players here and there from Round 1 to 6, it has been a juggling act of the top squad for Tate and Chaffey (2s coach) so far.
It hasn’t quite been the start we would have liked, with only 3 wins on the board out of 6 games, but we’re building on our structure and teamwork with every game, so there is plenty of hope and time left yet! A few more goal shooting training sessions are definitely in order!
Congratulations to Jayde Taylor, Lisa Eglington, Katelyn Smith, Sarah O’Connor (VIC) and Casey Eastham (NSW) for participating at the AHL. Further Congrats must go to Jayde for making her mark enough to gain a position on the European tour with the Hockeyroos during June/July! Good luck to Jayde, and Casey also, for the tour.
